Proud of my President

  1. No matter what party you belong to or how you may feel about GW, he did a heck of a job addressing the country last night. It was a moving speech and I think we are starting to see the real George W. Bush emerge. God Bless America!

I was deeply moved by the whole broadcast. Mrs. Beamer can be so proud of her husband and I was in tears to see her there. The presence of the Prime Minister of England- Tony Blair was an incredible statement. I felt really happy when George W. winked at his wife. She is a class act. The gentle, loving gesture from her husband , the President, was touching!

I was also very impressed with GW last night. Of course, I've always been a fan of his. He was a great governor and is now showing himself to be a great president. THANK GOD we didn't end up with Al Gore. Right about now, he probably be saying "Let's just forgive these misguided terrorists and focus on the more important issues of environment and unlimited welfare". Sorry, I've never liked Gore! BTW did anyone else see Senator Clinton in the audience rolling her eyes and fake-clapping (not sure if that's really a word)?

He certainly can read a speech well, but tends to stumble over consecutive words when talking for himself. The "Texacutioner" tag worries me, and I'm on your side!

It was not about Hillary so she appeared quite bored!
