priceline.com...I am impressed

  1. Of course, it doesn't take a whole lot to impress me.

I was able to get a 200 dollar a night hotel room in downtown Seattle for 65 dollars. Going there for a career fair next week and didn't want to pay the going prices for hotel rooms.

So, I will go over the day before, do some paperwork at an agency I have been talking with, go to the cheesecake factory for food (firecracker salmon appetizer for sure), hit FAO Schwarz, hit Nordy's with the little woman and then just enjoy walking around downtown Seattle.

The next day hit the career fair, drop off a few resumes, pick up loads of free stuff.. and then drive back home that evening.

Of all of this, the best part is.............it is tax deductable as a business trip!!

I got my wife a R/T plane ticket from Indy to PHX for 150 bucks on priceline, very good deal. She stayed with her sis so didn't need hotel. I was impressed too Bob.
