Would it surprise you if I said that I didn't watch it and frankly don't care.

I think if I were the President, my SOU address would go something like this:

"The State of the Union is strong, as usual. Thank you."

As it is, wish lists from Presidents, whether I respect them (as I do President Bush) or not, are silly and mostly fictional. I like politics, but if I want fiction, I'll read Orson Scott Card or a host of other, much better writers.

I agree with you on everything but respecting Bush's wish list. Heck, his wish list is for world domination!

I didn't watch it. Last year the local radio station was holding a game - everytime he flubbed a word, take a shot; everytime he mentioned Iraq, flash something, etc. Was alot of fun.

I can get the state of the union from watching or reading the news everyday. I don't need the president telling me about Iraq, terrorists, axis of evil, etc.

I caught a little of it because a pt was watching it. I can't stand Bush, so I'm prejudiced. I noticed that he made a big deal about medical errors and how his reglatory legislation is out to save everyone's lives. Just trying to salvage the senior citizen vote, imo.

We watched when he was taking us to war.

The President claimed to stop four terror plots, but where is the evidence?
