Taking entertainment tickets or sporting game tickets from pharmaceutical companies is on the list of NO NOs. I hope all the doctors that I have heard brag about the events that durg companies send them to are aware of that.

Makes one wonder about all the new drugs that are pushed onto patients, what if any type of kickbacks are the docs recieving for prescribing the favorite drug of the month? I remember a nurse I worked with whose husband was a doctor, she brought me and other nurses and staff, all the alchohol that the drug reps would give away free to the doctor, also many different types of bonuses, uniforms, stethascopes, bp cuffs, lots of stuff, so much that she would bring it to work to give away to co workers. She spoke of wonderful trips fully paid for by the drug companies, etc, etc.

Yesterday I posted articles and links about this. Doctors prescribe brand names only even when generic is as good when they receive gifts from pharmaceutical corporations.
They give seminars with shopping for the spouse and golf, dinner and drinks too.
To quote a country singer friend, "Go spared you that one darlin."
