Saying that Hillary Clinton is a "fresh face" in politics is like saying bush is a pro at riding bikes while eating pretzels. Being Rebulicanlite Hillary will give us ALL more of the same. People love to label Hillary as some loony lefty but if you followed her voting record she is right of center. She has lost her zest and zell she had when she left the GOP. Now she is just a political hack, like the rest on capital hill.

NO I meant to direct that at JoAnn, who seems to think all the moderators are politically like-minded. Which we are NOT.

I am not a great fan of Hilary Clinton, myself, but I understand why some would love to see her in office.

As much as I love HC, and would love to see her run for Pres. I hope she doesn't because the press will focus too much on her, and she will be ripped to shreds. Sadly she doesn't have the support of women, which baffles me, but without she won't win. She has experience and intelligence and hasn't done much waffling, but I've heard women say "there's just something about her I don't like".

LOL. I know you're being tongue in cheek.

At least the "Whoa Nellie" post the mods put up during the last election is still up. :roll

I took it as tongue firmly planted in cheek . . as in, y'all are gonna have to do a whole lot more moderating when the politics hits the fan.

Things always get a little hotter around here when election time rolls around. Alot more work for the mods. As in, I'm sure you are really looking forward to it (place an eye-rolling smilie here).

That is all she meant, I'm sure.

Well, for one she put up with a lying and philandering husband, which was a betrayal to herself and her daughter.

For another, she is pro-choice. There are actually women who are pro-life. Really. I swear.

For another, she is pro-gun control. I'm not.

Let us just say, she is liberal and I'm not.

And I really think that even some women who DO share her political views are very disappointed in the way she rode her husband's coattails and put up with his crap.

p.s. the link above does not go to an article about Hillary's fresh face (huh? Fresh face?) It goes to an article about John Kerry running again.

    reread the link...

In 2008, Democrats will probably be eager for a fresh face, said Thigpen, citing New York Sen. Hillary Clinton's lead in early polls and her ability to raise large sums of money.
