here we go. what kind of healing is this?

how do we know that she is not trying to heal herself.

why is it that some of us do people so wrong and we preach doing right. she is human, her words she speaks about races are ridiculous, but, why let her words determine how one will live and react in their life. it is an individual choice and so respected, but she will not keep bitterness in my heart.

she may also have posted just to see who would respond in a smiliar way she did about insulting people races. the very person who did not reply to that thread and post to daily, may be the one who is a racist just as she.

prn, you will not direct my thoughts, feelings, and attitude. i agreed with your post yesterday and i agree today.

if you come at me about my race, i will deal with it at that time.

    have a good one!

p.s. i am not angry. i posted how i felt. i am not "being holier than thou". i am being me.
i respect your post lpn and i think it's just wonderful that you are able to be flexible where prn is concerned. you are a different type of person than me. the beautiful warm and fuzzy words of encouragement don't supercede the fact that it hurt deeply to read other words and beliefs that came from the same poster. remember? the post that mention the race of people that i come from as being ignorant, inhumane animals that run around in their willy-nilly states of being.

i'm not perfect and don't profess to be. all bets are off when i have to deal with my own feelings of being told ignorant stuff like what prn posted about african's. i think she should not be allowed to post anymore, because apparently, i don't apply to her warm and fuzzy thoughts. nothing phenomenal and out of the ordinary for prn's prior insults.

sorry lpn...can't be you, or what you suggest as an alternative.

    take care lpn,

"I've learned that under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved." -- Andy Rooney

I agree with Andy Rooney here. It's not easy to always please some people, but we should at least embrace them with love, and appreciate their differences....no matter if they accept us in return or not. If the "hard-to-please" people reject our hand of love and appreciation extended to them.....I say, love them anyway. We all still have a freewill; we can choose to love with it, or hate with it. As for me...I choose to love others regardless of how they treat me. To me that is called remaining obedient and trusting unto my Father who loves and knows me best! :kiss

Awesome post. I think its strange that the same person who singlehandedly insulted a whole race of people is the one to talk about gutter talk or feeding frenzies.

And sorry LPN but we all can't act like Gandhi. Pray for me if you want to.

I can only post my opinion, so I'm sorry if it doesn't agree with yours, Marie.

All I can say is that few conversations in real life go the way you intend or envision them going, and this bb is no different. I think the worst thing about this is the idea that we should all suppress our true feelings in the hopes of not offending anyone.

How politically correct should we be?

My post about the ignore feature is meant for all.... I have learned that it works best when a person...seems to enjoy instigating stuff! I was in no way referring to the converstation between two wonderful people, whose opinions, and posts I highly regard... such as LasVegasRN and LPN, Future RN.

I don't have a problem with things going off topic, I know that's to be expected on a BB, but lately serious discussions have gone off to Sillyland or turn into a Bevis and Butthead movie or flame throwing, that concerns me, that's all, maybe others like it, that's fine, I will ignore it.
