It's rare that I find myself in the conservative camp, but this is one cause that gets my support. NO, I don't think Terri Schiavo should have been placed on life support when there was no hope for any meaningful recovery. NO, I wouldn't want that for myself or anyone I loved. But that feeding tube is in, and it's been in for a long don't just pull the thing and let someone dehydrate/starve to death. What's done is done........let Terri's parents take over her care now.

I agree completely, pulling her feeding tube and letting her starve to death is cruel and I really feel that the husband has other motives for wanting to see her die.

I have to agree with the three of you. If her husband wanted the feeding tube removed then he should have done it a few months after she got it when she showed no sign's of improvement or never had it put in at all. I think that after 15 years he just remembers Oh yeah she does not want anything like this is a little shady. I also feel that he has an ulterior motive. He is waiting to get married again and she also has insurance. If he does not want to care for her then he needs to turn her over to her parents, which are more than willing to care for her.

Would people have a problem if her parents got to take her home and take care of her?
