Nice! VERY nice ! I see you have your own personal little tropical jungle on your balcony !

If I was a city lover, I'd love your view... alas, a meadow, trees, rolling green hills...and a birdhouse... are more to my liking, however. :chuckle

Truly, Suzanne, it IS lovely.. I could see myself enjoying that view at least for a little while, anyway !

That's gorgeous! A view like that in NYC would cost a million bucks! How is the cost of living in Bangkok?

Wow, I love the greenery! What a view!
Is it noisy, like any big city? I'm sure if it is, you get used to it. We live quite close to train tracks and have gotten used to the trains going by; we don't wake up at night or anything!
Love to see more pictures anytime, Suzanne, thanks! I like being a visitor to another country, not a tourist.

Cool vistas on that deck, S!

    What floor are you on?

Wow, that is just dreamy! I guess you've maybe already explained this elsewhere, but are you on a nursing assignment there? Do you have kids?

That really is beautiful, Suzanne. Here in the desert we only get things that green after we have a flood!

I forget where in the States you were originally from. Were you raised in a city environmnent?

No kids, just three dogs and two cats................plus quite a few seahorses in a speacilty tank. You cannot work over here as a nurse unless you take the Thai nursing boards, and the salaries are terrible.. One month here is about 1-2 days in the US but cost of living is significantly less. I actually own a school over here.

Gosh that is AMAZING! What is the sentiment with respect to Americans over there right now? Do you speak fluent Thai? What inspired you to chose Thailand in the first place? Do you hire western nurses as instructors at all?

Sorry about all the questions but this just sounds like such a fantastic adventure!
