Now if there was a number to push to get someone with English as their primary language.
I hate how many of thse companies have subcontracted to overseas phone banks and I either cannot understand what they are saying or make them understand what I am trying to tell them.
I got so :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire trying to talk to Linksys about my wireless router and USB adapter.
I couldn't understand a &(&*&* word the person was saying EVERY TIME I CALLED!
I finally asked, "Is there someone there that actually speaks English?" :angryfire :angryfire
It's bad enough when you have to talk to someone with an accent from a different state, let alone from a different state & country. lol (Mexican with a southern accent, French with a yankee accent....lol)
It makes it so hard to do something that should be easy.
Another phone pet peeve:
The phone rings, and I answer it only to hear, "Please hold for a very important message
." OMG! I don't care what crap you're selling, or what I won, or if I owe you money. If you want to talk to me, it better be a human. I'm not waiting on the line for that "important message."
Whew, thanks for letting me get that out of my system.
