Patient-Silenced for Three Years from Lou Gehrig's Disease-Suddenly Able to Speak

  1. A Kansas woman who suffered from Lou Gehrig's Disease, has resumed talking after a silence of nearly three years. It's the second such surprise recovery at a south-central Kansas care facility.

    The miracle is that the poor woman is in Medicalodge and still alive.

    One of the most terrible diseases, I can think of. I am thrilled that she has recovered her ability to speak. It really is a miracle. Absolutely amazing!
