1. This was just on the local news...a convicted rapist is being released from juvee as he has turned 21y. He is not sorry, and furthermore says he "likes being a rapist", and his preferred prey are young girls.

Where is that clue phone when you need it?

Any chance this is in Kentucky? I heard about a case down there where a rapist was paroled early and immediately went out to raped another woman....I don't believe this guy was a juvenile though at the time of the first rape....

Yeah, you have to wonder what the crap parole boards and such are thinking.....

    Nope...it's PA.

What the hell are these people thinking??? Never mind answering the clue phone, they need to take that phone and wack them over the head with it...a few times to maybe knock some sense into their brains?
With that kind of statement, the scum should be locked up for life!

I know this is a rhetorical question, but why oh why does someone get a maximum for selling pot, and out comes another rapist...and not even one who claims he's been rehibilitated? *sigh* I feel scared for his next victim.

I own a shotgun, I live next to a funeral home, I pity the fool that tries to mess with me.

Unfortuntley it seems that is what the U.S. is coming to in some areas..evryone for themselves.

When someone gets out and they have served thier time they can get out.....no matter if they are rehabilitated or not. It is a proven fact that you cannot cure a pediphile and we let them out in every state by the dozens to go and rape again. There is an old adage in the places that I work is "The only good rapist is a dead rapist."

fab4fan, I have not heard of this particular case. However, the news ran a story this week about how judges are under pressure to let people off/out because of jail overcrowing. Do you think there is any connection between the story I heard and the guy you are speaking of being released. The crimes these people commit are sickening. One guy was released while waiting trial for murdering his cousin, while he was out he murdered his mom and then I believe they said he shot a cop.

Probably the only way to rehabilitate them would be to wack it off with a cleaver. But I guess that would be going back to the old testament of the bible and eye for an eye and all.

It is interesting to note that pedophiles and rapists are at the "bottom of the food chain" within the penitentiary. After working around countless convicts from all over and ones convicted of everything imaginable I would have to say the rapists are the creepiest. I was able to able to feel somewhat "comfortable" around the drug lords, robbers, and murderers, but the sex offenders gave me the willies. They just always had a predatory sort of look about them.

We have a sex offender on the loose here. He didn't show up for a hearing and has been issued a warrant for his arrest. Thing is, none of his neighbors were told he was a predator.

He also likes young girls. It's been on the radio news, but nothing on TV. No picture. Radio describes him and that's it. GRRR

My best friend is married to a parole officer who has worked with adolescents and adults.

One time we were talking about his work and he told me about one of his cases which was a 14 year old boy that was mad at his step father and decided to shoot him when he got home from work. His younger sister came home and discovered his plot, they faught and the brother then shot the sister. They tried him as an adult and he was confined to an adult state prison until he will eventually be released for serving his time. I remember my friend telling me (and it gave me the chills) that this kid had been beaten and raped while in prison and was filled with sooooo much anger and hatered for everything and everyone. There would be no way to ever rehabilititate the kid and some day he would get out and he knew for certain that that kid would do something by far worse than what had been done to him once he got out.

So, I think that even most of the people in the legal system, prisons, etc. understand but are somewhat helpless to do anything about it. Their hands are often tied by the same legal system they try to uphold.

Unfortunately, once a sentence has been completed you have to release the inmate back into society. Unless you can get some sort of temporary hold for a mental health evaluation the person is released. But even with a mental health hold he would most likely be released back into society. Then when he rapes again, and he most likely will, he will come back into the adult system where hopefully he will spend a much longer time within the system.

criminals will always figure out ways around the system, out of the system....they will always have access to guns, drugs....you name it......scarey........well, we've already done the gun controle debate.........anyhoo...l took a forensics class and the instructor was showing slides of various things....one pic was a bloody something...gross, couldn't quite make out what it was....turns out it was the scrotum of a child molester who had been ''released''.....don't know what led up to the incident, but several neighborhood women took it upon themselves to stalk this man...pinned him down and pulled his balls off!.....can't imagine, but it served him right......and think about all the child abuse that has taken place in the CAtholic church and most of those azzholes are still free from prosecution.....it's a sick and twisted world!..............LR
