What a crock of S**T!!! But, I can believe it. Before I was born my mom was raped, and then blugeoned with a rock. They let the guy walk of course. Lack of EVIDENCE. I hate the justice system. It is a flaming joke.

Just is'nt right. They all should be stuck in a cell with Bubba, then let Bubba do what ever He wants to him as long as He wants.Even though I'm a Christian it would give Me extreme Pleasure to extract punishment on someone who Hurts a Child. :angryfire

My rural county has one of the highest, if not the highest number of paroled sex offenders. I guess they figure sending them to rural communities will help them somehow. I dunno . .. .I don't think they should ever get out. It is very difficult to ever "cure" these kinds of people.

It is too bad we can't let kids roam the neighborhood as I did when I was a kid . . .. but the truth is these people have always been out there. When I was in 6th grade, a man pulled over in front of my apartment complex and asked a friend and I for some directions. When we walked up to his car, we noticed his pants were unzipped and he had ahold of something weird . . . . we took off. This was in the late 60's.

I beat you all. 200+ REGISTERED sex offenders within a 5 km radius of my place. God knows how many unregistered sex offenders there are. Only found this out on the news after a girl was murdered and cut up into little pieces (she lived a block away). It's sick and disgusting. Unfortunately all you can do is supervise your kids. I try to tell myself the neighbourhood isn't any worse than it was before I knew that....

I found out about this guy because one of the moms from my daughter's school brought it in and gave it to my mother (who had dropped my daughter off). Seems that a few neighboring towns have been officially notified. I'm still waiting for MY official notification.

You know what got me? I went on the net to find out more about this guy and had to give MY info in order to get his. I also had to electronically agree not to harass this son of a b**** before I could get his info. He deserves to be a lot more than harassed.

What happened to the good old days when this man would be lucky to keep his life after committing such a crime, let alone EVER walk the same streets as law abiding citizens again! :angryfire

I know that I have to supervise my daughter at all times and I definitely do that. I think it's so sad that at 8 years old, she is not allowed to leave the yard and at the very least, I peek out at her every 5 minutes and she isn't allowed in the front yard unless someone is with her. I live in a REALLY nice neighborhood. That really doesn't mean anything nowadays.

The thing that's most upsetting to me is now I KNOW there's a monster right in my backyard. When my husband goes to visit his family in Washington State in a few months I am going to be petrified by myself. I shouldn't have to live that way. I think I'm going to get an alarm system. I am now living in the same house I grew up in and when I was little I roamed the neighborhood freely, just had to be home in time for dinner. We always left the door unlocked when we were at home in case a friend wanted to pop in...now I'm thinking of getting an alarm system...and maybe some mace to keep by my bed...

You don't rehabilitate monsters like these. You ventilate 'em.
