I noted on the page, "We've already had three or four ice storms this year".

So with the skating blades, does that allow Big Blue able to do a quad jump, as opposed to a triple axle?

I worked for a community mental health clinic as the nursing supervisor over medical services and methadone clinic when an accreditation process was underway.

On this date in 2003, one of the administrators wanted to instill confidence in the employees by saying this:

Twenty years ago, I was working in different community mental health clinic as a nurse for a newly formed Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program.

On this date, January 28, 1997, I drew this comic about our disorganized, directionless ACT supervisor:

Let's see, 20 years ago . . .hmmm. 1997-ish? I had left working on the Float Team in the hospital, and was working at a husband and wife practice in a Dr's office, I found out I hated 9-5, M-F . . .and I quit because the male doc told me I was "Just like my wife" . . .NOT a compliment, as they were in a fractious place in their relationship!. After that I began my 9 year stint as Secondary Nurse doing Baylor Weekend Home Health visits. I was also in my second year of appts w/ my psychologist, working on all the STUFF that menopause and depression had summoned forth.

Oh, wait, this isn't the Completely Self-Absorbed thread, is it?! Besqueeze me, silver-plate. <(that was French!)
    So....never mind.

In the Supertramp song "Goodbye Stranger" there's a line that goes "If I never look behind me, my troubles will be few". Although it has been interpreted in different ways, I interpreted this line as in the concept of carrying old baggage from the past and allowing that old baggage to weigh you down.

Richard Bach wrote that we are always free to choose a different present, future or past. We choose a different past by changing our perspective on the past; we gain something positive from a negative event in the past by learning from the experience.

This is a cartoon that I drew 20 years ago on this date:

    Hey! A 180 degree rotate-able head!

In my first day 9th grade biology class in Catholic school, I wrote in an assigned essay that a 360 degree one would be a great thing for God to do to improve the human race! Wouldn't that be cool?!?!

I also had a second idea, but I never wrote that one because I figured that Sister Mary XXX wouldn't be thrilled about it!
