OMG...Step-daughter "missed bus"...

  1. I am freaking out!

My 15 y.o. step-daughter was 20 min. late getting home. Normally she promptly arrives at the normal time, but not today. When it wa 15 min. past time for her to be home I called my DH. I was worried, big time. As I'm speaking to him she walks in the door. Asked why she was late and she says she missed the bus and had a friend drive her home. I ask, "Who is this friend?" "Oh, Kyle......he's just a friend." She has a funny look on her face. 20 minutes later my dd comes into my office to talk to me. Seems my step-daughter lost her virginity on the way home from school with the boy at his house. Not only that but no protection!!!!!!!!!!!!! (OH BUT HE PULLED OUT! :uhoh21: ) says I can't let anyone know she told me or step-daughter will never tell her another thing. I have to tell my DH, we have damage control to do here. How the hell do I get a hold of the morning after pill? And how on earth do I tell DH? I have not yet confronted my step-daughter.

    *EDIT*

Oh wait, my brain is behind. I re-read this and see that you got the info from your other dau! Oops! Sticky situation.... Why not do back to the SD and ask her what she REALLY did? Do you think she was telling your dau the truth or that she might have been trying to brag?

I dread having teenagers in the house, toddlerhood is hard enough right now! LOL

Wow, but at least she was honest! Have you guys covered this issue before (I mean, did she KNOW better?) If you're going to tell DH, I would at least go to her and let her know that you HAVE to tell her father.

No, step-daughter didn't tell me, my biological daughter did. We have an open honest relationship, well at least I am very available and honest with any questions they might have and if they need an ear or shoulder. DH will be home in an hour.

Yep, I misread that the first time. Sorry - I wish you and your DH the best of luck in dealing with the situation...

No, it happened. They tell each other everything and my dd is worried about my sd, so she told me. Don't know whether to talk w/sd first before DH gets home or not.

Make a visit--- (call and convey your urgency, or just go in)--- to PLANNED PARENTHOOD or your County Health Dept. ASAP!Lisa, remember, your only concern is NOT the morning-after pill you need , but STD tx and prevention. PLEASE DO NOT DELAY!!!!

And get that girl educated ASAP about pregnancy and STD spread, all the down and dirty. The nurses at county health depts and PP are WONDERFUL and NON judgmental--they are excellent when it comes to dealing with teens.

IM me on yahoo if you want to talk. I hope I can help!

Since I spend lots of time at home I watch a lot of Dr Phil...I know I know..anyway, the family he is dealing with on the show...the same thing happened to their 15 yo dd. She missed the bus on the way home from school.
That's tough, I would deal with the fall out between the girls and just take SD to get MA pill. I have a feeling she dosn't realize what a big deal this is.
    Good luck Lisa!!!
