OJ Simpson interview on Court TV

  1. Did anybody catch OJ Simpson being interviewed by Catherine Crier on Court TV recently? Gosh, did anybody else feel that every single word he said was a lie--and that he came off as really, really sleazy? He never really answered a single question--just beat around the bush with evasive non-answers.

There was a point on there where he got so angry she took a comercial break--I really think she should have kept the interview going, because it looked like he was getting ready to get out of his chair and hit her--not that I would have wanted that to happen, but so that people could see on national TV just how little it takes fro him to lose control. His attorney was with him, anyway--of course.

I don't understand how he was able to buy an expensive home in Florida--doens't he owe the Goldman family several million awarded in a civil suit?

And whatever happened to his promise to spend the rest of his life "looking for the killer(s?)"

    What a sleazeball.

I am so sick of O.J. Simpson. Surely there's a nice, dark area under a rock that he can crawl into.

I know there's been a lot of coverage of the 10th anniversary of his wife's murder but that's just tacky to agree to be interviewed - is he still claiming to be searching for the "real killers"?

No, he is not searching anymore, according to an article I read on him recently. The reason, he claims, to have given up the search is so he can spend the money and time he has left on his kids. So he says. I don't buy him or his smarmy persona for one millisecond. Neither do too many others. But his kids are what matter now, and I hope they can have a peaceful relationship with their only surviving parent, whatever that means to them. They are what count in my book.

Kinda hard for him to look for the 'killers' since there's not a mirror in front of his face 24/7.

I wouldn't give that lyin' murderer the time of day, let alone participate in stroking his ego as these people who are conducting interviews with him are by watching the shows he has been on lately.

He can continue to buy fancy houses because of the retirement money from the NFL that the civil suit can't touch.

It's a sad state of affairs that this country continues to give him airtime.

Still no tv in my house . . . .and I'm liking it more and more.

I was doing my pre-reqs for nursing school during that time and my mom lived with us . . she was glued to the tv and convinced OJ was innocent. I got to hear the lowdown on the day's coverage when I got home from school.

Amazing to me that anyone could think he was innocent.

"Smarmy"--EXACTLY the right word for the way he comes across. He literally makes your skin crawl, and he is so shifty-eyed; you just know when he is lying. What a reptile.

Felt the same as you on the above.

Think his pension is beyond the reach of the court, per FL law.

OOZES with deceit and arrogance! I agree -- really tacky to interview the jerk!
Yes, his children should be what matters at this point! Can't imagine what it must be like for them -- hope that he doesn't screw them up.

My 18 month old daughter snatched away from my mom at miami international airport 2 years ago and ran (literally) into OJ. Gave him a limp and let me tell you my heart about stopped, thought he was going to kick her! Anyway he said it was ok and limped off wearing his hawaiian shirt and leather carryon and it was obvious that he was on his way to vacation on some island paradise. this guy is really too much, and regardless of the outcome of the trial and my thoughts on what had to be done, this guy is a total scum! :angryfire
