If you're doing a cake for the University of Michigan, it must be a full sheet, huh? Do you ship them? Surely you don't deliver them...
Oh noooo... not for
U of M, just a cake with the logo on it, for some Michigan nut's birthday!
In all honesty Cathy, it's starting to get to me. The word of mouth is really picking up, and while I absolutely love it, I'm starting to find out that I do indeed have limits, and sometimes the stress does indeed get to me. I can let some housework slide, but I never let time with my family slide. One time I was in the kitchen for so long, didn't realize how late it was, came out to the living room to see my hubby and son had fallen asleep on the couch. So now I usually stay up late (3, 4, 5 in the AM) finishing cakes as opposed to doing them during the day.
Some other questions.... I only work 2 days a week, 12 hour shifts. I do deliver every one of my cakes, it's included in the pricing. I like to make sure each one makes it to it's destination unharmed. I've been asked before if I ship them, and I don't, but only because I wouldn't even know how to????
And there are some things I'll tell ya if you ask, but I usually don't share too many of my secrets.
