nursing school graduation gift

  1. I have a friend who is graduating from her BSN program this Sat. and I need a really nice cheap (under $20) graduation gift for her. I am clueless on where to start. What kind of recommendations do you all have for nursing school grad. gifts ?

There are quite a few sterling and even real gold RN pendants on eBay, for $20. and less.

Well....just don't make a mistake like my sister did.....true story........
She went to nursing school with a "little person", and she had her as a secret pal all year, and at the end of the year they exchanged gifts. My sister didn't have any money to purchase her a gift, so she found a gift that she hadn't opened from a previous christmas, that had been given to her, she thought no harm in passing the gift off to her secret pal, it was a beautiful jewlry box. Well when her secret pal opened it up, she found that the jewlry box was musical, she wound it up and in front of the whole class, it beautifully began to play, "It's a small world after all" my sister was devasted of course lol, I just love that story.

A gift certificate to a uniform shop... She will need scrubs for work

Gift certificate to a coffee shop or uniform store. Coffee shops have a relaxing environment to read a book in, and she'll always need scrubs.

You could give her a bottle of her favorite alcohol.

-R God lov 'ya, you are the bomb. After two to four years of nursing school, surlely that gal has a favorite drink?? If not, and she's conservative, buy her the best support stockings known to man. Pluse a bouquet of lilies.

Thanks so much guys for the replies. I think I'll go shopping tomorrow or Wed. but I really like the pendant idea. Where do I look on ebay? (not really an ebay expert) The alcohol also is a good idea ~ however she is barely 21 and I don't know if she has a fav drink yet plus I am not 21 yet so that wipes that out !! Oh well, only a couple more years !! Thanks again for the replies. I'm going to ebay now to look around.
