Yes, be sure and remember our veterans tomorrow, those present and those past.

We thank our veterans during Republic Day - there's a big parade every year.

I also observe "Army Day" - that's out of habit from time spent in the Army.

Australia has 'ANZAC' Day, and I assume NZ remember it as well, in April

'Australian and New Zealand Army Corps' - Remembering when we first fought as 'Australians' as opposed to separate colonies in the First World War. Particularly at Gallipoli in Turkey...

That is our main day, but the 11th Nov is also important to us. We have parades of 'diggers' (thats what we call our soldiers) on ANZAC day, and they represent all the soldiers past and present. Some of our young ppl are now marching in place of their grandparents who are no longer with us...

"Tomorrow" - Nov 11 - is nearly over for me. I've got to go to work tonight, and am trying to talk myself into walking when there is a lovely storm building up. I'll be going early I think...
So I'll chat to you on the 12th...
    Lest we forget...

Good morning friends. This is a Sunday that we honor God, but today we also honor our veterans, past and present, who have given so much. And for their families who have also sacrificed much. We thank you and God bless you.
