Not Again!?? What you don't want to find under the tree.

  1. My DH is a great shopper and gift giver, but what I don't want this year is anymore of the t-shirts (with big slogans)/coffee cups/pens etc that are freebies to him from his clients.
Things start looking like a national ad campaign for computer software companies under the tree.
Give me appliances or tools anyday.

What don't you want to see this year?

I've been divorced for seven years. I'd love to have a husband who'd put ANYTHING under the tree.

My husband is totally non-responsive to hints, even those that are about as subtle as a house falling on him. Therefore, I typically do my own shopping. What I don't want under the tree is jewelry- we just don't have the same taste, and I know it hurts his feelings when he buys something and I don't wear it much.

I'm happy with just about everything I find under the tree........mainly because my family shops from my list. And what DOESN'T come from my list, is only because I hadn't thought of it yet.

Toys. I made the mistake of mentioning once that I loved the Austin Powers movies while hubby and I were browsing through Toys 'R Us, and under the tree that year were wrapped action figures of Dr. Evil and Fat Bastard.

I wanted a new desk since I'm starting school. Fortunately, dh takes hints well and said that's what I'm getting but it may not be delivered until after Xmas. Woot!

I'm basically easy to please, but very spoiled. He get the Lord of the Rings DVD, and I get furniture! Kind of like the year I got a diamond "wedding" band and he got underwear. :Santa1:

No pots or pans. A few years back I got pots and pans from my husband and the next year I got pots and pans from my father-in-law.
