Welcome to, jules! You've joined what I call the best nursing website on the net! So you want to be a nurse, eh? Well...IMHO (In My Humble Opinion), nursing is a great career choice...I have never regretted becoming one, and it's always good to hear another one is about to become one too. :kiss Again...welcome to the family of! Thanks!!! I definatley need all of the support I can get!!! I am very excited about starting school. I have been working on my pre-req's while waiting for a spot in the program

Well, you hang in there, keep taking those pre-reqs, and sooner than you know, that day of entering the nursing program will be here. Actually, it's a very good thing to take as many pre-reqs as possible BEFORE starting into the actual nursing courses. You'll do better grade wise, and stress-wise. Best of everything to you, jules!

are you going to go to school at night or day? have you thought about going to school up here? you may be able to get in earlier up here. just a thought!

oops, forgot to mention, come join us in the "student nursing" section.

I didnt know that Southwest had a program. How many students are selected each semester? At Northwest it is usually 70 students
  12. by moni rn
it depends on if you are going day or evening. if day, i believe they accept around 100, but if evening, they only accept 60. i am in their evening program.
  13. by jules/futureRN
so they have an evening program? Northwest does not have one. It is required that you go during the day but night classes would work so much better for me. What is the tuition?
