I'm asking because I've never been there and I am wanting to go. So I ask, "Why Ga?"
I'm wanting to take a bike ride there and back. Never been to the south US. Maybe I can be encouraged to actually go and see something nice.

Welcome to the US. I am currently on a travel assignment here in Macon, GA. We really like the area and the people, in fact I just extended my contract through Sept. 4th.
Rusty, there is alot to do right here in Macon I have found. They have the Indian Mounds to visit, Georgia Music Hall of Fame. You can go over to beautiful Savannah to explore. The coastal islands are great, I especially liked Jekyll Island. You're real close so you could take in St. Augustine and Jacksonville, FL. Atlanta has a lot to offer (check out the Coke Cola facility).
I'm sure native Georgians or people who have lived here longer can give you alot of input.
