New Phishing tactic: ebay messages

  1. For the last 2 days I've gotten emails that look like messages form ebay......one looked like the message you get when a bidder ask a question. The other looked like a message from the dispute console. The graphics are exactly the same, but when you click on the links it takes you to the page that looks like your sign in page.

If a messsage comes from Ebay, it will also appear in the MY Messages section of your My Ebay page.

NEVER NEVER NEVER respond or log in to an e-mail message that LOOKS like it came from ebay. It didn't.
I get these all the time and just forward them to www.spoof@ebay.com.
E-bay will never send you a message to log in from a link on an e-mail.

Ditto, I get those e-mails from e-bay and from Pay Pal. NEVER EVER log into either unless you yourself have logged into the actual site. These people are crooks and yes I do report every one of them to spoof.
