Need a good spam filter.....

  1. Anyone know of a good spam filter I can download? The one that my ISP charges me for is a bunch of crap. It couldn't filter a gallstone! I am so sick and tired of my e-mail inbox being filled with junk!! Any ideas?

Really. Problem is, you won't get any mail at all. But, first time you share your email address, someone else will share it, someone else will share it and soon you will be receiving just as much spam as before. AT&T does a fairly good job of filtering most spam out of mine, but I still get it (even the porrno offers).
I'll be interested to see what others say about this. -- D

Be careful what you download. Can really mess up your browser.

I'd be very interested in a solution to this problem too. Since I don't have a penis, I'm tired of being told how to make it bigger and if my boobs got any bigger, I'd need a crane to carry them. How does all of this crap start anyways???? Surely there is a way to filter all the unwanted junk out????????

I haven't seen a free one on the internet, but if there is one you might find it at If you have MS Office on your pc Outlook has a very good customizable SPAM filter in it. I also have Norton Internet Security. It has a SPAM filter and a pop up killer on it. Gary

Weird, because I have no filter and have had no problem with spam. I did have those email addresses for awhile that sell stuff, but there's no one on the other end...but that only lasted a month and they gave up. I'm talking NO spam at all.

Maybe no one loves me (sob)

I get no spam either. My ISP uses Postini anti-spam, anti virus and it works soo good.
    Recommend to your isp.
