Name this tune

  1. Since someone else was asking for the name of a song, I have been looking for a song that I heard in the early 1960's. It was in Brenda Lee's and Patti Page's era. The words are:
"Call off the wedding. Call off the wedding. Please tell the bridegroom, the bride should be me. He promised to wed me, but then he misled me. So call off the wedding. Give my love to me. We had a quarrel, as all lovers do. He tried to forget me, with somebody new...."
My sister used to play it over and over. I was 5 years old and disliked it. I would LOVE to get a copy..just for her. She wrecked the 33 1/3 record (yes, I'm that old!) by putting it in front of a heat register. Sweet justice! But now that we're close to 50, it'd be fun to give it to her for memories!
Can anybody help me? I've tried the two above, and a search. No luck. Thanks!

The song was one female singer. Not country. More like the dramatic type of regular singing of Brenda Lee. It came out about the same as "Ivory Tower." I was only 5 years old, so I couldn't read so well yet! thanks for any help you can give me!
