Naked protestors...

  1. Have you guys seen the stories and pics of the people who get naked and lie down to form the Peace symbol or spell out "No War" and things like that? I found out today that there is actually a website for the "nude protest movement" - http://www.baringwitness.org/ . They even solicit donations and sell mugs and T-shirts with one of pictures on them! Unbelievable.

I found an article online today that's written to them at http://www.theage.com.au/articles/20...540131439.html . Although I disagree with the peace protests, I agree with this author's point - put your clothes back on and act like your cause should be taken seriously. Getting naked accomplishes what in regard to war?

    What do you guys think?

hmm... I think I'll print some of those to hang on my wall... (not)

I agree... what's the point? So protest by lying on the beach on a peace sign, but why naked?

Silly and embarrasing. That is all. I have embarrased my kids singing along with the musak in the supermarket.

Drakes Bay! Where Sir Frances Drake sailed the 'Golden Hind' into San Francisco Bay way to the north and claimed it for England in the name of Queen Elizabeth I.

The Ocean Park Beach people were clothed.

Thank you for the second link. Lots to think about!
