My Needy Body

  1. Guess where I am again. I sometimes think this confounded needy body gets homesick for this place. I guess you can see what I'm typing on. Yup! Just thought I'd let all of you know.

Awww Fran, so sorry you are sick
Look at it this way... you are providing a learning experience to those that are taking care of you!!! You are teaching them, although indirectly!!!
    Hope you are better soon!!!

    Ummmm,April fool!!!!!!!! :hatparty:

But my body any my mind really do get homesick for here when I'm in the hospital, and when I said, "Guess what I'm typing on" if you remember, I didn't specify what I was typing on. I was here all along. But thank you for all your messages of caring. I really do appreciate them. And please don't feel like you've been had, I didn't mean it that way. It's just my sick sense of humor, and April Fools Day brings out the worst of it. And I got everyone I faced today, including Laurel, and my bus driver who said she couldn't be fooled.

    CHEERS :hatparty:

Alma Park Zoo had 150 phone calls from people who were told to ring ans ask for a Mr G. Raffe, Ann Teater, E. Lephant and a few more:chuckle

The morgue got a few for Ima Stiffy and well you know the rest. but I still think that the best April Fools joke was one pulled by one of our local current affairs shows back in the 70's.

They ran a story on the "spaghetti worm" which was blighting this years crop of spaghetti by drilling a hole through the centre. They even went on location to a passionfruit farm and draped cooked spaghetti over the passionfruit vines and showed a black thread being pulled from a piece of spaghetti.

Trouble was they got flooded with donations to help out the "poor spaghetti farmers" :imbar: They gave the money they couldn't return to a good cause though.

That's a good one Gwenith. I even got my doctor today. Nobody was spared. :hatparty: I remember watching a TV commercial advertizing a famous name spaghetti. Then they showed strands of spaghetti draped over the limbs of trees. I was very gullible back then, I don't know how I ever believed that, but I did, and I told both of my children that spaghetti grows on trees, and they too believed it until they became teenagers.
