My Christmas Letter to Santa!

  1. Dear Santa,

All I want for Christmas is a date with a wonderful guy who will make me forget I ever met my estranged husband...even if it's just for one day. Heck, I'll settle for winning the lottery!

I haven't been on a date since last Winter this time, and that was with my soon to be "ex" for my birthday. Santa...wont' you please grant me my wish this Christmas Season?

I'm having a really tough time getting through each day of this holiday season. My mood has been so low since Thanksgiving. All I can think about is LAST YEAR, and how much fun I had with my husband. Now he is gone forever, and I'm a complete mess. The pain just won't go away long enough for me to have a happy day. All this Christmas cheer around me just isn't doing the trick. I don't even feel like a woman anymore. :stone

    Sincerely,
    Not so cheerful right now

Awww...how sweet of you to offer! How do I turn down an offer like that! However.....I must since the minimum dating age for me is 40! I'm sure you'd make a very nice 'son' though. :kiss
Ohhhh.....I do have one daughter I'm still trying to marry off.

    Just curious!

Awwwwwwwww... Cheer up hon! I'm sure you know how life is, it has it's ups and downs. Look on the bright side for now...no one to answer to, no one to take care of but yourself...a nice big bed all to yourself!! :chuckle Enjoy your singlehood...embrace it! Trust me, that special someone will come along when you least expect it. For now, just be totally selfish!!

When I have a bad year, I always remind myself that Mary's first Christmas wasn't so hot either.

But seriously, we're not having a very happy year here. No one's really in the mood, so it's just kinda subdued compared to other Christmasses. Some years are like that. It'll be better next year....here's hoping yours will be too, Renee.

My hopes will be with you also....maybe you will meet someone that is a patient (not very sick) who will melt your heart and sweep you off your feel...Or maybe you will meet someone Chrismtas shopping and he is handsome and caring and make your forget your exhusband...I know that when I met the man that I have been living with for the last 7 years, I had just got out of a very frustrating 4 year relationship and I was no more wanting to get involved with someone again. Well my sweetie appeared on the scene and I have never regretted talking to him from that step. And I met him online!!! So I will be hoping for you this Christmas Cheerfuldoer :icon_wink :icon_chee :Santa2:

And I luv ya for being so kind! :kiss

My daughter just turned 31. She's been divorced for a long time now, and is currenty in an unhappy relationship with a guy that won't leave her alone. She's prior Navy, a licensed practical nurse, and has a little boy who is eight years old. She looks so much like Paula Abdul that she could easily pass for her daughter. They are the same size and height, have moles alike in the same place on their face and neck, and they both love to dance. As Paris Hilton would say, "That's hot!"
