We are trying now, to be honest. Hubby wants one more...I want two. Daughter will be 5 by the time this one comes around so I'd like to have two closer together....

I had three, that was a good number for us.. the last two were not planned to be a year apart but it has worked out fine.

    Their ages.. 13, 14 and 20. (boys)

I'm looking forward to being a Grandmother someday!

Dood..... my ob told me that if I bug her for a year, she'd do a tubal. (7 months, 2 weeks, 4 days.....)

We have one son, he's 8. He's a great, smart, independent child. He's my buddy, and we get up and go on the spur of the moment. I cannot imagine, in a million years, going back to that stage where a child requires 150% of your time, attention, and energy. Selfish? Probably. But I'd rather not have anymore kids when I know I don't want them, then have them just to fulfill someone else's idea of what the perfect family should be.

And Brian is actually in total agreement with this. He's never wanted a sibling.

We're a happy little family of 4! (gotta count the dog!)

No more for me! 3 was enough--heck, 2 was enough, but the third has been a huge joy, so I won't complain. It's just an awful lot of work, kids are expensive and demanding. I already have a lot of guilt over not having done things with the kids like I wish I had (as far as going places, stuff like that). I don't need more of that. I LOVE babies, but I just can't handle more.

I agree with Heather. Once they reach a certain age it's nice to be able to pick up and go especially w/o a diaper bag !

Kids are very expensive and need a lot of time and attention and they are definately worth it.

I would not want to relive raising my last two kids, too close in age, it was almost like having twins, that kind of sealed my feelings on not having #4.

    Best Wishes !

I have 2 , 6 & 8! Would have wanted a 3rd hubby said no way! Got a Vascectomy! He said we have a pair a son and a daughter!!

Anyhow.... they were 24 month apart... if we would have had the 3rd we would have had to have tried right away.... we wanted the kids close together in age!

Plus what really scared him is I did really bad after the birth of my daughter post partum depression.. and my episotomy had an allergic reaction to the stiches.... it was HeLL! So he said that's it!
