More Chemo

  1. Hi All.....well I go in Monday for 5 more days of the VA's mustard gas left over from WWI. I am still feeling pretty darn good considering everything. The heme/onc said if the lumps don't go down soon and stay down they will remove one of the swollen lymph nodes for further study and another biopsy. They are thinking I have a combination of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I went and re-applied for social security disability again so I can get Medicare and possible get a second opinion somewhere besides the VA, like MD Anderson in TX, it is supposed to be the best.

I had applied for disability when I was diagnosed with cancer, but they turned me down even though one of the criteria in receiving it is "an illness that you are not expected to recover from". You never know what they are thinking. I want to thank everyone on this BB for being so supportive during my illness, you guys are the best!!!
