good morning all
Yup, it's Monday again. FUnny how that happens every 7 days or so.
Now that I'm no longer at the palliative care, I am much more relaxed in terms of not having to figure out when I can sleep and what I have to get done during the day. I know that many nurses go on to work nights well into their careers, but at 45, I just don't want to do that any more. I miss the patient contact but, what can you do, right?
I have some marketing to do today and my thumb is *so* much better that I'll actually be able to tackle some projects I have planned. Besides the requisite housework, I want to design a quilt that's been sitting in my thoughts for a while now. I couldn't before because I couldn't even hold a pencil, but I can now, so let the creativity flow!
It's also going to be another beautiful day so that means backyard clean up as the snow melts. YOu know, big dog, big backyard, snow falls, covers little prizes, only to be uncovered in the spring? Yeah, just love pet ownership at this time of the year. Snort.
Heard from youngest DS in Greece. He is having, in his words, an amazing time. Just loving it. I'm so happy for him.
Ok, off to scare up some breakfast, back to do some email stuff and then on with my day. Have a good one everyone.
