Hello to all, and I hope your day goes well!
Good to see you, Zoe
Personally I'm still getting used to Central being somewhere different than the rest of AN . . .
, a belated Happy Birthday to your ds!!
Good that you're getting some rain . . .
, hope you aren't out too long w/visits.
Your patients are lucky to have you.
, is your cap/gown traditional black?
Well I made it through TWO graduations yesterday!!
One, of course, was youngest ds's.
I'm so proud of him and of his class!
The other grad. was of ds's friend, P.
His school had 139 grads but it went fairly quickly.
The speakers were mercifully short-winded.
The AUDIENCE, on the other hand!!! Hoooooooooo-Weeeeeeeeee!!!
Air horns, poppers, silly string, megaphones, drums, --- I even saw a man beating on a big ol' kitchen pot with a wooden spoon! The noise of all was deafening at times!
People were SO ready to support their grads!!!
P's mom and I took the kids many Sabbath afternoons to the beach together, to the mountains when it snowed, to the desert so they could climb the rocks of Joshua Tree . . .
She got a little teary-eyed at the end, realizing that he REALLY HAD, in fact, GRADUATED!!!
Well, I'm off to work.
Y'all have a good day!
