  1. First off ........

    (((((((((((((((((((((((((TWEETY!)))))))))))))))))) )))))))))))

Let's all get together and begin this week in loving support of our friend.

    Second thing ............

    G'day! And to MONDAY!

Wishing you all a safe and happy day today.

    Our news:

Took DH to have his review by the surgeon. All's well. He received a good report. The shoulder is healing according to plan. He can now begin attempting his usual ADL's all by himself! Free's me up! Also was given the green light to begin driving short distances. Again..... Free's me up! lol
Surgeon wants to review him again in February. Says it'll take that long for him to regain full use of his shoulder/arm. :uhoh21: Never mind, lucky for him, he's NOT left handed! :chuckle

    Ok, what's your news today?..........

    Cheers..............

    Good morning! :kiss

It is currently raining with some thunder and lightning in DFW, Texas. I hope to register for spring 2007 classes early at my local community college, as today is the first day for registering. Since I completed a 16-hour double shift today, I think I will take a shower and obtain some much needed rest.

Thanks to Grace Oz for starting this thread!

    GOOD MORNING, LITTLE PEEPS!!

Thank you Grace, for starting the Morning Thread!! I'm just so happy to hear that your DH is doing better. By the way, I did get your latest E-Mail & will answer on my off day!! Thank you!!
I'll bet you're feeling FREE -- Like a Bird!!!! It does help when DH is better, I know.

Commuter. Good Luck with your registration!! 16 hrs!!! I think I'd be dead!!!
I could do that when I was young, & did routinely do it---but not anymore!! This old body is just too broken down for that!!

We're super busy again---altho, tonite I'm taking a short break---as you can see. I'm tired of going without a lunch-break---so this is it.
I get more energy relaxing & reading the threads then I do from eating these days.
I've all ready had an admit, so what's here is here. I'm pretty much done with the admit.

DH's Roast Pork lunch was out of this world--wish I could have had more.

I'm off tonite, so we have LOTS of things to do after I get off---start with DH's Physical Therapy!!His shoulder is doing better now---after several months of very little improvment, we seem to be doing better!! Hopefully when he goes back to see the Ortho in Jan, he won't even need surgery!!!
I sent Grace some pics of his poor range of motion, but he's really doing quite a bit better now!!!

He wants to make a bunch of stops after PT---Target, Menards, Groceries!!
He was VERY impressed with Trader Joe's last week & MIGHTY impressed with those DUNKERS!! I guess he'll be stopping there, too!!
Well, as long as I'm off, I don't really care how long we stay out.

Well, I'd better be off & running again!!

Tweety, You'rre in my thoughts again today!!
    (((((((((((((((((((((((((((TWEETY))))))))))))))))) )))))))))))))

    Mornin' y'all!

That D/FW stormin' has been going on ALL NIGHT LONG! I didn't get a good 4 hours sleep....got woken up several times in that 4 hours. :angryfire

    Oh well...

Heading to the school later on to practice my catheter and wound dressing change skills check-offs. I got the NGT skill completed and recorded Friday. Hoping to practice, and record the other two today.

    Y'all have a great day!

    Good morning.

I had a much better sleep last night. Just super thirsty and a little shakey.

I woke up to what sounded like SO barfing in the kitchen sink. Turns out he was putting stuff in the crock pot for tonight and his concoction was making him gag (okayyyyy sounds delish). :chuckle But I thanked him for taking care of dinner. I think he's cooking out of self defense because you should have seen the look on his face when he saw the vegitarian bean soup I made on Friday. I can't help that everything I cook is experimental. I'm just not a recipe kind of person.

Good morning! It's great to start the day with a hug. I've gotten so much love and support from my Allnurses friends, I'm overwhelmed. Thank you just doesn't seem to cut it. But thank you!

I'm going on with the routine today. I'm going to the gym, studying. I'm starting a new course today. An accellerated 5-week semester "World Relgions". It should be interesting.

    Morning, All,
The rain you guys are experiencing now is headed this way....and, from what I understand, it is supposed to last for two days. I give up on trying to keep my car clean.

Got an e-mail back from that attorney I wrote to yesterday. She states (and I quote): "At this point in your litigation, there is nothing I can do".

All I asked her for was an opinion as to whether or not she thought these debt collection attorneys had violated my rights under the FDCPA. Whose side is she on, anyway? :angryfire Obviously not mine.

And, had I had the blood money my original attorney wanted up front to fight these crooks, I wouldn't be in the mess I am now.

In this country, it's all about the difference between the have-and-have nots, even though I have it well documented that I am a victim
of a predatory lender and their equally crooked attorneys who are lying
through their teeth, in order to finish me off.

The only thing left for me to do is to get out and vote tomorrow for the candidate who has vowed to fight predatory lenders in his election campaign.
    What else can I do?
