  1. couldn't help myself!

    to monday!

hope you all enjoyed your weekend and that the week ahead brings nothing but good things, happy times, smooth days and peace!

my monday consisited of housework. i usually try and accomplish most of it on this day so the rest of the week is mine to do as i wish.
this week i've got a coffee date with a girlfriend arranged for tomorrow, tuesday. then my photography class in the evening. i'm doing a 6 week course in photography. not wanting to become an expert or anything, just interested to learn. it's something i've always wanted to do. part of this middle-age, accomplish new things, direction i'm taking! :wink2: learning for learning's sake as opposed to learning because my job depends on it! been there ...... done that!
at this point, i'm being a tad selfish and doing things for me!
    for a change!
ok, i'm away! have a happy day! (once you reach monday that is!)

    cheers.............

Somehow I knew Grace would start the the GM thread.

Listening to The Roots right now. Underrated group.

I must clean today. I have clothes everywhere and I desperately need to dust. Thinking about job hunting today for a second job. Need the money in a bad sort of way.

Good morning, Grace and bethin! I have the week off to work on household cleaning/rearranging, so I'll join you both in your Monday chores! I did buzz youngest ds's hair tonight, and cleaned and oiled their fan in the room (it was squeaking, so they started squawking, so I got to tweaking, lol!).

I better scoot to bed, g'night for now, will see you all in the morning! -- D

    Good Morning, Peeps!!

Grace, Thanks for starting the thread!!
Hope you accomplish all that you wish ; I hope you enjoy your photography class. Many, many years ago--back in the dark ages, when I was in High School I belonged to Photography Club and really enjoyed what I learned!!

Bethin & Dianah--Hope you both also get lots done today!!
    You all are sure ambitious!!

I'm at work and so far it is not too bad again. They left us with an extra nurse again--because we only have one CNA. I'm up for next admit, tho.

Not much planned for Monady AM--a few errands right after work; then a nail appt and finally home.
I have to work Monday nite; so, hope i get better sleep Monday then I did on Sunday--a day when I just couldn't get to sleep!! No particular reason, just couldn't doze off.
Oh well, thank goodness, those are few and far between!

Well, you all have a Wonderful Monday!!
    See You all Later

    Morning everyone!!!
Grace--you go right ahead with starting the a.m. thread. We LOVE it! Now that you'll be a professional photographer soon, maybe you can post some piccys for all of us to enjoy.

Bethin & Dianah....have fun with your chores.

Hiya Mary Ann...nice to see you.

RGN--hello to you too. spoke to my SIL who lives in Telford and she was complaining about the weather. Supposedly got so cool that they lit a fire in the fireplace already.

Seems like our nice coolish weather is coming to an end. Will be OK today but later on in the afternoon, the humidity returns. Ugh. Have to take a dysrhythmia class on Thursday of this week and next. Forgot about this class and had to quickly order the book from Amazon for xpress delivery. Oh the joys of working telemetry.

They say they have a couple of books to lend out but I tend to like my own book so I can refer to it later on if I need to. It wasn't expensive. Actually, I'm enjoying working telemetry for my 1st nursing position.

    Mornin' y'all! Rise'n shine, rise'n shine! Up and ad'em!

Well, DH is heading off to work, and Kirsten is in the shower. I'll wake Kaylee up around 6 AM. Back to school today for them!

What will I do without any kiddos arguing until this afternoon?

I'm planning on going through my conversions/dosage calculations sample tests & book a little today. I may take a nap later too..... :chuckle Might as well get sleep when I can now. In two weeks sleep will almost be either a dirty word or a foreign word.

Oh well.....Y'all have a great day! BBL!

    GOOOOD MOOOOORNING

Hi my lovelies! Sorry for being AWOL for a while - I moved in with my aunt just the day before she had a colectomy - so I've been taking care of her for the last couple of weeks. But today, oh today I start my NICU job! Wheee! I'm sure today will be stultifyingly boring, as it's the hospital-wide orientation for all new employees, but at least it's something to do!

    Kisses to all!

Grace, thanks for starting the GM thread, we love it when you start it, especially when you have the grace to wait until our day begins which isn't fair, which is asking a lot, but thanks!!!!

I hope everyone has a productive day.

Suzy. Tele is interesting. It takes practice, practice, practice. I've taken three courses over the years to keep afresh, I think the third course I took here at the local college was the best because it "stuck" with with me.

Best of luck to you Elizabells!

Fun, you're right about enjoying your naps while you can. I remember well my biggest complaint about nursing school was the fatigue. I used to have to go to the campus library to study so I wouldn't fall asleep with my books. But I would still get whiplash. I should have gotten a cervical collar to read and study with because my head bopped up and down so much.

I hope everyone has a great day.

It's going to be pretty routine for me today.......gym, housework, study. The usual. We're between seasons at bowling and there's no bowling tonight. I won't know how to act with so much free time on my hands. But I'll enjoy it!

Mornin', all. Gotta get my Tail Feathers in gear, cuz I work today and tomorrow; off Wed., then 6 straight, just to let you-all know why I don't pop in too much. The 6th day, I work the floor. Bummer.
