    GOOD MORNING--All You SleepyHeads!!:Melody: :Melody:

Nurseboy, I'm at work, too. Well, my nite is surely different!!
I'm Charge and I'm Precepting; So far, VERY QUIET!! It's almost too early for me to say this--but I took the chance!!
We have 12 empties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And just two nites ago we were jam, packed with no room in this INN!!! Oh well--feast or famine; We all need a bit of famine after the last 6 wks of being full all the time!!

My preceptee is awsome!! I haven't seen anyone this good in a LONG WHILE!!
She is a new Grad from NYU!! She went to school in New York but has always lived here!!
It's nice to be slower the last two nites so she can really some some better nursing with out the rush, rush, rush.

Siri, Thanks for the support for the WHITE SOX!!! GO WHITE SOX!!

Leslie, I was reading late yesterdays posts.
    ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS LESLIE & TIFF))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
I feel so sad and helpless here-- I wish there was something I could do for you. Something to really help instead of just saying prayers!!
I just hope it will work out. Tough Love can be HARD to do!!:icon_hug:

Well, I guess I've had enough break time--need to get back to work.
I'm off tonite. DH & I are going to dinner with some friends; It's a place we've not been to, so hope it's good!!

You guys all have a great day!!

    Good morning to everyone.

Unfortunately, I am NOT having a good morning myself though. I have been up all night trying to pass a kidney stone. At the moment, I am nauseous from drinking water until my stomach feels like it's going to burst. Then I'm trying to "hold it in" so when I go, there is enough force to get this sucker OUT. I am miserable!!!! I'm doing everything I can (including posting here) to get my mind off the pain, which comes and goes. This sucks.

Hopefully you all will have a better day!

Gompers, sorry about your pain. Hope you pass that stone soon and get relief.

    Hi Mary! Hi Ben!

Lots of wind and rain here this morning, but not bad. It going tough driving, but doable, for my coworkers to get to work, but I'm off today.

Was going to the gym, but going to wait for Wilma's effects to pass (I live in Tampa Bay, far from the eye, just getting a tropical storm here). Then it's going to be cold. We're going from summer to winter in one day. The air conditioner is on and the heat is likely to come on as the temp goes into the low 50s tonight. That might not be bad to you guys up North but for us Floridians going from 90 degrees to 50 may as well be an Artic freeze. It's about time Summer ends, but I wanted the cold to ease on in. But I can't complain, this is the cold front that kept the worst of Wilma away.

Tweety, I hope the storm passes soon down there!

Speaking of passing - I JUST DID IT! The pain as it moved from the ureter to the bladder, and bladder to urethra was horrible - but the actual POP wasn't painful at all because I had drank so much water that it pretty much flew right out of me! I have it in a baggie and keep looking at it with pride, is that wrong? It's about 3mm and sharp as heck. Saving it for the doc to analyze. I had two stones on a CT last month, so there might be more fun later - but now I'm confident that I can pass that one too. I'm so happy!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting married in less than three weeks and had NO desire to go through another cystoscopy anytime before then.

Gompers, so glad you're feeling better!

The storm is indeed moving fast, so that's a relief that it won't be this windy and messy all day, or for days like poor Mexico got. Should only be a couple of more hours. I'm just hoping a wind gust doesn't knock out the power. But it's not all that bad. We could use the rain actually.

    Thank you!

Yeah, I heard that the wind might reach up to 100mph even further upstate from the storm! Keep safe!

I feel so horrible for anyone living in the hurricane zone. It seems everyone has been hit by something this year and it scares the heck out of me. This extreme weather we've been having over the past few years...I just worry so much about that.

We were originally going to do a Carribean or Mexican honeymoon but decided not to, as November is the tail end of hurricane season and we didn't want to take our chances. Maui is definitely looking like the better choice right about now.

I live in the Midwest. All we get is droughts, floods, and tornados.

Gompers: sorry about the kidney stone, hopefully it will pass soon.

My two beds stayed empty, will be able to go home soon.

Nothing much again here in my neck of the woods. Supposed to get more rain and maybe some winds so we will see how the weather goes. Still mighty chilly out there and it doesn't look like it is going to get any better from now on .

Still waiting for the darn letter, I am so sick of this.

Everyone please stay well and god bless you all.

    Have a wonderful day.

Oh we're safe and sound already. Just a little wind and rain. Nothing worse than our thunderboomer storms we get all summer long.
