Sad thing is, there's not one story on there that can top my MIL.. she booed us at our wedding. "nuff said.. don't get me wrong there's a whole lot more, but the booing seems to sum it up
Oh and I'm not talking a little whimper boo, screaming booing

Did you b*tch slap her for that?? My MIL ran around town and told everyone that our daughter wasn't my husbands (weren't married at the time) because he only had one testicle. She said the doctor told her when he was little that there was a chance he would be infertile. But, she is a hypochondriac and diagnosed him herself. Hubby was so happy that she told everyone he only had one nut...

Charming. Oh, and classy. It will never cease to amaze and disgust me what adults believe will pass for acceptable behavior.

Inquiring minds wanna know--how do you get along with her NOW?

Oh.... So I maybe SHOULDN'T have gone around telling everybody about how my neph had this teeny tiny weenie little weenie when he was a baby? Kind of a cute little button-peenie.

    Oh well......

Sheesh...did you see the one on that site in the "holding cell" labeled 'Gorda'? Kind of scary.... (imagine Psycho music playing here)

The first few years me and hubby were together my MIL didn't like me. When I got pregnant, she worried about my weight more than I did. I ended up having an emergency C-sec, and MIL and Grand mother-in-law came to visit a few days after I was d/c'd. I could barely walk, and MIL was asking when I planned to start an exercise program to lose the baby weight, lol.

Things are better now, but the first couple years were a hoot! And I got even with her...it's been two years and I still haven't lost the baby weight! (Not that I am happy about it, but I have to laugh when I think that it probably bothers her more than me, hehe!)

Well my ex MIL insisted that I would be nothing more than a burden to her son... I wouldnt be able to pass lpn school and I would never be able to hold a job with any substance.... Needless to say the umbilical cord never fell off in the 30 yrs of that boys life, and it was still connected at 38 yrs when I left. I left as she was saying I wouldnt make anything of myself lol
I still laugh when I think about it.
    Her I am
Married living overseas and sooooo happy
LPN, to Rn, and Now working on my masters
Specialized in Cardiothorasics Surgery, and RNFA.
Worked for many well know hospitals and could go back anytime I wanted to.
Make more money than I ever thought I would.
And when I go back to see my family (they live in the same town) I make sure I see them and they know which country I have visited since I last saw them. I have introduced them to my husband( a diplomat) and I just sit back and smile as I know my ex is sitting at home stewing about the cash cow he let go... I make it a point to be just as sappy sweet to my ex MIL because the ex is now married to a bigger B#tch than I ever thought I could be. How lovely things work out. If I would have still be married to him I would be no where close to where I am now.
