Me Me Me ... It Is All About Me

  1. Okay.. question...

What is your FAVORITE way to celebrate your birthday?

    Keep it clean please....

My best friend had a Kareoke Party; I am too quiet for that. Dinner is always an option. I have thought of going to one of those yummy spas for a day of indulgence.

I would love to be wisked away on a surprise weekend trip. You know no planning it out and packing and making plans for the kids. I just get to go on the trip and hubby does all the other stuff.

I've always fantasized about being by myself for a day (but that EVERYDAY not just on b-days).
I enjoy being around my family, having them ask me "Do you need anything Dad?". They cook me a good meal of my choosing and we just hang out.
I like hearing how they love me etc...

I would like that too. One of my co-workers, her son did that for his wife. He planned this trip to Florida, didn't even tell her, arranged her time off from work, and when she came home on Friday he told her they were going out to dinner and to pack a bag; she had no idea where they were going. She figured a B&B or something - until they went to the airport!

    How exciting!!

Dinner and dancing! It's so rare I get a chance to go out dancing to live music.

Should be tons o fun. Incidentally, LVRN, we were going to visit your fair city, but it was just a little too expensive. Arh well.

    Hi nightngale....nice topic!

For birthdays that have already passed....I have usually gone to dinner with hubby....then home for a nice night together. :blushkiss

I did throw myself a 30th birthday party since I hadn't really had one as a kid growing up.....not to mention the fact that I couldn't even get the first spouse of my life to do it for me. Never mind that I gave him a SURPRISE 30th birthday party several years earlier.

This year for my 51st birthday, I will be spending it with all my children in the beautiful state of Delaware at my youngest daughter and son-in-law's home. We're planning Thanksgiving there, and my birthday is the day after...sooo..there ya be! That will be the best birthday ever since we will all be under one roof. :kiss
