1. I'm getting hooked on old MASH reruns. I refuse to watch the ones that are older than I am, cause that's pathetic. For some strange reason I seem to be able to relate to the storyline:chuckle

Is it just me, or is B.J. Hunnicut hot?

That's where I chose my allnurses name from, since Margaret Hoolahan was my fav TV nurse of all time. She was tough when she had to be, and soft when she had to be.

Honnicut? Eh, never did too much for me. I just enjoyed the show.

Why am I not surprised that hoolahan replied to this thread?

I once had a pt who said that hearing the theme song from MASH relaxed her. Reminded her of when she used to watch with her hubby.

M*A*S*H is great. My favorite was always Hawkeye Pierce.

Who was more likeable, Trapper John or Hunnicut?

Hunnicut by a smile! Hawkeye was available, but Hunnicut was cuter.

Oh, WOW!!!! ya'll! This is my favorite TV show of ALL time! Do yourself a favor, adrienurse, and watch ALL of them. You will see humor, satire, and be led to think for yourself. I was not yet a nurse when I got hooked on this show, but I was before its run was over. I am sure that this show impacted my choice of areas (ER/Trauma) to work. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy, and be mindful of the social and political lessons being taught. They are timeless.

I will never forget the episode when Col. Potter's horse disappeared, and an old villager, who used to serve in the emperor's army long ago, took the horse thinking it was his. I cried when Col. Potter let him have the horse. Does anyone remember that?
