low fat meals

  1. Hello all, it's been awhile. I've been taking a break from the boards & catching up on some much needed rest!
Just wondering, I have decided to finally do something about the weight I've gained after my last child. I don't want to do any of the "fad" diets. Basically, I'm combining exercise with well balanced meals. Any suggestions, or sites that might help me? I don't want anything too rigid, basically some guidlines & meal suggestions. Thanks.

I have a couple of sites that I like for lowfat menu suggestions and recipies. Believe it or not one is www.bettycrocker.com The meal plans are under this weeks dinner plans, healthy.

Another site I like is www.cookinglight.com I've tried quite a few of their recipies and have been happy with the results.

Do keep up with the regular exercise. Good luck!

I caught a show a short time back about emotional eating.... It was on my favorite show (I feel truly decatant when I have been able to watch the Oprah Show... and it is a good one) Oprah. The author of a book spoke of the topic of emotional eating... I have to admit... That is my problem coupled with not enough regular exercise.

Oprah's website @ Oprah.com has a "Challenge" to get involoved in the aspects of Bob Green's Book, "Emotional Eating". Ther is also a second thread n this Forum talking about the Oprah Show.

Thank you all so much, I'm in heaven with all of these recipes! Good tasting and appealing food is a must for me (can't eat any of those bland "diet" meals ) Now I just need to do some major grocery shopping!! Thanks again.
