Mark Wahlberg does ALL his stunts in this movie - when you see his charecter taking a hit, that ain't no stuntman

Director said that it made makeup job easier - they didn't have to paint and invent sweat and bruises!

was at work today when a staff member alerted me vince papale was gonna sign his book at borders book store---next to my office starting at 7pm!
went down at 8:30pm and the line was sooooooooooooooo long, 200 books sold out in minutes. wrapped up work at 10pm and he's still signing books with at least 1hr line.

upon driving home, got idea maybe he'd like to see 73 yearbook and sign it for me if i didn't have his signature already. trotted back to store. he signed until 12 midnight anything fans had:footballs for charity affairs, personalized books, trading cards, newspaper pics. just the swell guy i remembered. we reminisced about track team members, got my book signed. his cousins loved seeing the pics.

wallenburg played his demeaner wrong...he was very up beat and jovial, outgoing....those waiting in line all agread.

he was a hunk in 73 and remains so today. movie was #1 at box office again last week. if you like rocky, rudy, friday night lights, remember the titans you'd like this movie.

    eagles fan forever.

What a great experience, so cool!!! My teens look down on PG movies, as a rule :icon_roll but I may have to drag them to see this. I'm not opposed to going all by myself, neither!!! Thanks for the tip!
