Last chance to view Holiday Video for friends of allnurses.com

  1. Just posting this link again for anyone who may not have viewed (or would like to view again) the video of "friends of allnurses.com" made for the holiday season. I just viewed the video again - for the first time this year as a matter of fact! (Don't think I viewed it since I put it up in mid December of 2002.) I brought back happy memories of working on the project: putting together the photos and video effects, writing the music, etc. So I said to myself, "Self. . . why not post the the link to the video again?!?" And I responded, "Why the heck not??!?"

I'll be taking down the video from the web site within the next few weeks just to make room for more projects. So. . . here's an opportunity to view the video again. It most certainly won't be the last video made! I would like to do a similar video with new music later on this year. I have a total blast working on these things!

    Here's the link:

"Friends of Allnurses.com" 2002 Holiday Video

Just scroll down towards the bottom of the web page and click on the video link. Warning: You will need a fast modem to view the video!

Again, enjoy! Hope it brings as much joy to you as it did to me. I think we can all use a little break away from the realities of recent current events (Space shuttle accident, possible war, etc). I sure needed a emotional/mental break which this video provided. I must say that I'm a bit unsettled by the space shuttle accident. I'm also a bit unsettled with the possible wars we might wage. Viewing this video helped put me back in my "happy place". . . even for just a short while. May this video bring you to some kind of happy place. . . even if it's just for a short while. Think of it as "Video Therapy"!

    Cheers!

    Ted

    P. S. I've been quite busy lately. Lots of irons in the fire! I made a promise of sorts to write and record music to lyrics that was compiled by JennyP. She compiled a bunch of lyrics many of you submitted last month to be used for a song. Once some of these irons have been thoroughly forged, I'll be able to work on this set of lyrics! It will be fun! Another pleasant memory to be made!

Glad to see you, Ted; I've got more lyrics but haven't got the time to be here much right now myself. Too many meetings, too many other things happening right now. I'll be sending more your way before the end of this month.

Ditto. Really enjoyed the sharing and appreciate all the work that went into it. Emailed the sound effects to some non-english speaking emails BB pals. You could do some more and teach them some english. they see the word and hear you say it...cool ! What snow ! Are you near Canada? Why not move south? Do you like that weather? Are the summers and autumns worth it?
