Lancet on new vaccine to prevent an STD

    While it makes most sense to innoculate all children against this, prior to school age, as we do other public health threats, some would see it as approval of illicit, illegal, immature sex. Most women who develop this have MARRIED partners infected with it. It has also been implicated in prostatic cancer. If both genders got it at a very young age, the "sexual approval" would be taken out of it. (hopefully)

    Channeling Roy here . . . . I am not crazy about the government making a vaccine "compulsory".

    I didn't even get my 5 year old a chicken pox vaccine, although he did have all the others. I like that I am able to opt out.
