This whole story just upsets me. I feel for those family members- it took so long for her body to be discovered!
I also don't trust the husband AT ALL. Have you visited www.lacipeterson.com?
They have a multi-page article recounting all the events, including how they met and the events that occurred during the search, etc. Very interesting to read, if you've followed the case at all.
I heard that her body was...incomplete? Has this been substantiated? I heard it on the radio; didn't read anything like that. Is this something they think the husband (or other party) did, or is it a result of being in the water for so long? I also thought it was interesting that the baby was found the same day. I mean, what are the chances of THAT happening? And that just brings up more questions, like how did it get...well...out of her? Did she give birth? Was she mutilated before her body was thrown in the water? I mean, the more you ponder it, the more morbid and horrifying it becomes, you know? That poor, poor family. Just breaks my heart into bits. I was hoping they'd find her like they found that girl from Utah...alive and possibly shaken, but nothing more. So very sad.
