Hmmmm.... they have them here, but they've never been a favorite of mine. I like Life and Peanut Butter Captain Crunch.

But I know what you mean about curling up with some good old comfort food!

Same here, know what they are but I would rather have a bowl of oatmeal with lots of raisins and brown sugar if its going to be hot cereal. But nothing beats comfort food from one's childhood!

I prefer my CoCoa Wheats a little on the runny side so I can drink them and dunk my toast in them........gonna have to buy some soon with the colder weather heading in.

ummmm captain crunch...I crush captain crunch and use it to bread chicken tenders and then deep fry them...I put a bit of salt and peper and garlic powder in with the powdered captain crunch and they taste great. They have a nice sweet taste to them...you oughta try it some time.

We had Cocoa Wheats sometimes growing up, but my kids never liked them too much. If I eat hot cereal, it's usually oatmeal with raisins, and toast on the side. Once in a while I'll make rice with milk, cinnamon, raisins, and sugar. I about got killed shortly after getting married because my wife made rice and I put it in a bowl with milk and cinnamon. Since then, if I want rice, I can make it myself.

Winter's coming. It's time to get back into the hot breakfast mode.

Have you tried adding some chili powder? Makes them hot and sweet and crunchy!

I used to love having Cocoa Wheats for breakfast before having to walk to school in the snow! And on cool Saturday mornings in front of the cartoons! I occasionally will have a bowl, my kids didn't take a liking to them though. My mom would also make "arose con leche" hot rice with cinnamon and milk. It certainly is getting that time of season.

You know I've never tried Cocoa Wheats, I'll have to do that...I love a bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats or Apple Cinnamon O's (like Meijer brand best-have more goodies per O) :chuckle

Just made one of my new favorite comfort foods tonight "corn cake" like at ChiChi's, they sell the mix & aaahhhh, I'm in heaven
