    Yes.

This is from a Baptist press and I must say I'm impressed with the pictures. Usually the press is fully of the most flamboyant outrageous people at any event. These sodomites look almost normal.

Rumor has it about 140,000 attended Gay Days in Orlando, which is a weekend long event all over the city. The mayor with dollar signs in his eyes officially welcomed the event.

Looks a lot like Disneyland did when the World Science Fiction Convention was held in Anaheim. We had red tee shirts too.
A kid in line asked, "Who are all of you in red shirts? Is it a fat peoples convention?"

    Yikes! Spacenurse!

I hope you gave that kid a long frowning and stern eye!

He was only about 5 or 6. The largest of us started laughing. He has one of those contagious laughs so everyone in line was laughing, although most didn't know why.

One friend gave her perfect "teachers look".
I think his Mother chastised him enough.

Good to know at least the mom cared what her son was saying. Some would have laughed right along and said nothing!

Yes, we all learned a lesson when my grandmother washed my cousins mouth out with soap.

Thankfully my particular kids could learn that they didn't want to hurt anothers feelings. I also taught them AND their friends from toddler age that if you use certain words or say bad things about people some people will not like you.
Works with a two year old even. Oops this belongs in another thread.

    Sigh....

The "lessons" regarding Sodom and Gommorah (sp?) as interpretted by most hardcore bible scholars has to do with being inhospitable to guests and visitors in your land....and NOT about homosexuality.

If you truly believe that Sodom, etal was a lesson about sexuality, then you need to take the whole story, including Lot offering up his virgin daughters to be gang raped by the populace, Lot's drunkeness, and then Lot later having sex with his daughters, to repopulate the world...as laudable behavior.

But for some reason, no one preaches that part of the Bible.
I disagree but I'm not going to argue with you.

Looking at the pictures I don't think kids would even notice anything.

Our mayors ride in a convertable with other elected officials at the West Hollywood parade too.
I have never attended because it takes a LOT to get me in a crowd voluntarily.

I do have gay friends living in West Hollywood, hospital workers. I worked out at the local branch of the gym I belong to. WOW what a beautiful bunch of in shape men. (probably vain and shallow. Just kidding!)

The guy that cut my hair yesterday told me he almost didn't become a hair stylist because it was so sterotypical for a gay man to do hair, what a shame it would have been if he had not become a hair stylist this is the best hair cut I have had in years!!!
