Just saying hi

  1. Hi Everyone, this is the first time I have ever visited this site and I decided to join as I thought it might be interesting! I work in the field of psychiatry as a Nurse Manager and have been registered since 1985 (eeek!! I am old!!) I love to travel and have been to the East coast of the USA and Canada. I would enjoy hearing about where you are from and your nursing specialties.
OK well that it from me! Bye for now

Greetings AussieRN! Nice to have you onboard. Although I have not been "registered" as long as you have (me since 1995) I am still old! This is second career for me; was in in business previously.

I'm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, and I do Intensive Care Nursing. God bless you for doing Psych nursing--I know someone has to do it and it couldn't be me! That stuff drives me nuts (no pun intended).

I did a 6 week stint in ICU as part of my nursing training and I hated it...so I take my hat off to you guys as well. I travelled through PA when my husband and I drove from Toronto to NYC...I stayed at a motel in Mansfield. Bye for now.

Amen!! I am a bit leary of Tina ( the mother/nurse)she strikes me as the type of person who'd love to get co-workers in trouble just as a power trip thing. I think we've all experienced that.

Yes I agree....she's one to watch. We are a week behind so I just saw Amber get kicked off. Can't believe Keith is still hanging in there!
