Just couldn't wait!

  1. Only one tomato was ripe so I bit it while still on the vine!

The biggest green ones will be fried green tomatos for lunch.

In a few days = yum!

Spacenurse . . .that is NOT fair. We don't even have our garden in because it still get too cold at night up here in the mountains.

What a difference a few thousand feet make. When I was in Redding for my son's oral surgery on Thursday there were fruit and veggie stands selling produce already. But 70 miles up the road where I live . . . folks still have their tomatoes in those plastic water thingies . . .

Oh well, such is life at 3500 feet.

    Enjoy!

woohooooooooo !!! Good for you ! Isn't life grand?

I just looked ours over last night.. teeny tiny still, about the size of a quarter, and quite green, of course... but they're THERE !!!

Corn is about three feet tall, potatoes looking VERY healthy, onions ready to eat, cukes coming right along, but not fruiting yet...

    Can't wait is RIGHT !

Yummy! We didn't plant any veggies this year, but we have strawberries that we were eating while setting up the pool and doing some yard cleanup today...they are sooooooooooo sweet and delicious!
