Job status

  1. Hello im not a nurse but work in a hospital. I have a problem becuase I was released from one departament before probation and had secondary employment in housekeeping prn. The whole reason was hr didnt know what happened and I assumed i was gone for good. I am still employed with secondary departament but dont know if its OK if i quit now or let hr take me off overtime since they dont really need me. Also the sister of the other department is my supervisor in housekeeping which makes it uncomfortable. Is this something I should just forget about and let them take me off overtime or should i go back and quit? Heard nothing from HR at all. Thanks.

    If it were me I would make an appointment with HR and/or the managers of housekeeping and the other department.
    Ask to have your employment status in writing.
