Job Hunting...

  1. Sucks.

I guess I'm impatient. I've applied for two CNS jobs, interviewed for one; got an inside lead on an internal posting for a Staff Development Nurse Educator that I'm patiently waiting for to go external, and I also stumbled upon a Corporate Wellness Manager position (it sounds REALLY nice) at a major department store chain here in our area that I emailed my resume to yesterday and am following up with letter on Monday.

Actually, the Corporate Wellness Manager sounds the most attractive (it's developing and implementing wellness programs for the employees), especially since it's in a corporate environment versus a hospital. And I'm always paranoid that I'm too late when I apply and they've hired a candidate and just haven't updated the website.

Job hunting itself is a full-time job! Thank god I'm done with school for the semester or I'd be behind.

Anyway, just needed to rant. Do you think I'll ever find a damn job? Yeesh.

I'll wish that you get a new job for Christmas, ok Susy? By the way....whatever happened with that lady who hit you and called you Karen and thought you were driving a Honda Accord?

    Thanks Kelly.

Well, my insurance company took my statement and was going to deny her claim, until they got the police report in which the deputy stated I was following too closely. So, my adjuster (who said she believes me) hired an outside appraiser company to come and take photos and look at our cars again. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid and what we agreed upon before she left the scene! Arrrghhh!

Good luck. I have found people are terrible at updating their web site.
