Jesus is my homeboy...

  1. Okay guys, just read something I found really "alarming" and just had to share!! I was having a brain-mush moment and reading the latest People magazine (not something I usually do, so I'm sure there's lots more I'm just as clueless about!) and there's a mini-article (p. 22) there about these T-Shirts being sold by Urban Outfitters that say "Jesus is my Homeboy". Now here's the disturbing part - they have 4 pictures of celebs wearing them and guess who one of them is??? PAMELA ANDERSON!!! How's that for blasphemy??!!?

Anyways, nothing really important or earth-shattering, just had to share!

Just because she has the best boobs money can buy (I'm assuming this) doesn't mean she can't believe in Jesus.
She is probably a very holy, spiritual person.

I actually read that too... at first I was disturbed, but then I remembered that it wasn't fair for me to judge them, because I'm no saint either. I just hope that the T-shirts don't become some sort of joke against Jesus. I truly hope that even though they may "seem" like hypocrites, that they are really wearing the shirts for the right reasons..... one can HOPE right???

Maybe Pam stole it from Kid's closet

That's just weird, but whatever you like I guess.

Shandy, at first I felt like you but the blurb in the article that specifically pointed out that the shirts are meant to be taken tongue in cheek and that Urban Outfitters does not have any religious connections whatsoever prompted me to feel the way I do. Since they went the extra step just to show that it wasn't religious...
