Jerry Springer seems like he's a nice enough person with a charming personality..............I just can't stand his shows, so haven't watched a Jerry Springer Show in a very very very long time. I like when he gives out inspirational educational insights at the end of his shows, but everything that happens in between the start and close of the show sickens me. Yuckee poo!

My favorite talk show host is David Letterman. :kiss

I watched it once at my friend's house. Ewwwwwww

One of my daughter's friends was on the show. It was all set up of course, it wasn't his name, his story, his problem.

The part I really liked was the way the fights are all scripted out. The family screams and hollers and tears at each other while it's their turn on camera, but when it's the next family's turn they sit there politely in their chairs at the back of the stage. Yeah, that's good theatre.

Ooooh - P.S. I also liked the slimy little homily he did at the end. Lucky us - he's in Nashville quite a bit cutting records.

    A talk show host?
I like to watch it when I'm PMS'ing. It makes me feel less dysfunctional and much less fat and bloated. Notice how there is always a very large woman on that show that, unfortunately, does not know she is a large woman? Then she always has to try and kick someone's a** and either a.) her skirt flies up, or b.) a boob pops out. It's truly great entertainment. We can't ALWAYS be in search of intellectual stimulation. Sometimes we just need a laugh.

    DonMurray -

Here where I live, they air "Are you being served" and "Keeping up Appearances" for the very same reason.... well, no. Not the same reason.

Okay, I don't know WHY the air those shows. Or Jerry Spring, either. I guess that's why I play on the computer instead of watching television.

We watch it, sometimes. It is so crazy, to see all the wierd
people on the show. I think most of it is put on anyway.

we get it over here on pay TV - No l dont pay to watch that - l watch other things but get stuck with the rubbish as well - the rubbish may refer to any number of shows including Australian, British or American - l gues that is the thing with Pay TV you can have a wider choice of rubbish than the free to air TV. - I do love the Antiques Raodshow though - the English one - So naw to Jerry.
